Jill Dunk is a mentor, a connector and a beauty industry veteran with a proven track record of developing, launching, growing and selling brands. With a passion for nurturing emerging brands, Jill specializes in Retail Distribution Strategy, Operational Management and Business Strategy and Development. Jill helps clients at The Pienza Collective hone their distribution strategy and maximize profitably and efficiency, all while remaining true to their brand roots.

Earlier in her career, Jill was a founding partner of Mama Mio, the pioneer in pregnancy skincare. Along with launching this new category, she created a new retail channel at the largest US maternity clothing retailer, Destination Maternity. After launching in 2005, Jill and her team grew the brand, which sold to The Hut Group in 2015.

Prior to Mio, Jill was part of the founding team at Urban Decay. As EVP of Sales, Jill helped create not only what remains a top-selling line at Sephora, but was also one of the first to launch color at non-traditional channels outside of mainstream beauty. In 1999, Jill was a part of the Executive team that managed the sale of Urban Decay to LVMH.

As a results-driven consultant, Jill has worked with top brands such as Too Faced, Butter London, Deborah Lippman, Pop and Pixi Beauty, Clarisonic and Lash Star Beauty. Jill’s areas of expertise also include consulting CEO / COO support, guidance for start-up operations, marketing, international expansion, small business coaching, and advising private equity firms.

Jill is an active member of the beauty industry community, serving on the ISPA Speaker Committee, as the ISPA Speaker Committee Vice-Chair, West Coast Vice-Chair at CEW, Board Member at the Bay Area Beauty Association and a Board Member of TSOVET.
